Think I'll get my presents for people of the net from Amazon or where ever. Bad enough distancing in Tesco.

Re: Next Christmas?

I will try to get a delivery when Xmas gets close. It may be chaotic, even more than usual, in the supermarkets.
I've started buying a few pressies when I've come across things. I just hope I remember where I put them.

It was nice to be positive but I think it is all taking a bit longer than expected. We will get there but I reckon supermarket staff will go back to being worthless shelf monkeys when this is all over. Already, some customers are forgetting the important service they provided.

Re: Next Christmas?

I think it's not a bad idea to buy a wee present maybe every other week, half the year's gone already, and when buying online, the delivery is a bit slow now due to this virus, what will it be like nearer Christmas.

I have 2 Christmas presents on order now as I'm not sure what we will be facing when winter arrives.

Re: Next Christmas?

I've given grandkids money for birthdays this year. I only buy useful presents for Xmas now and the family have agreed on nothing over £20. We did that last year and it worked out really well. We all got things we needed and nothing useless which would end up going to the charity shops.
It was token gifts really.
