That's the sad thing about it Donks. A luxury boatyard on the Isle Of White was making the sails for the 1st generation wind turbines but the company sold out to a Danish company. They closed the company down, and moved the production to Denmark where it went from strength to strength. Since then, the Danish company has reopened the sail making company.

Siemens have invested and developed the biggest producer of wind turbines in Europe here in Hull Donkeyman......So much for the EU....

With a blade factory and assembly hub and employing 1,000 people, Hull is the UK’s largest offshore wind turbine facility serving giant projects in the North Sea including the 1.4GW Hornsea 2, which is set to become the world’s largest offshore wind farm when it enters service in 2022.

Siemens Gamesa opened the Hull facility in 2016 after a £310m ($380m) investment.

Thats very good news OGF, but it would have been better ifa british
firm had done it imo?
I suppose all our money is tied up in banking and money lending?
