Traps kill them swiftly. Mind your fingers when setting them though!

We've found the best way to be mouse free is to ensure there is not a single scrap of anything edible left for them, not even crumbs on the floor. Ensure all foods are locked away especially at night.

Best bait I found for mouse traps was a sunflower seed.

Trouble is they then start chewing through the cupboards.

Oh yes I have lived in places with mice it's awful . I had a small baby and had to go into the kitchen at night for his feed , omg I still can see them scattering .

I worked in a shop , the boss left a bar of chocolate in the staff room , before that we didn't know we had mice. They do love chocolate . I used to go in to work first thing in the mornings and take the mice out the traps . The memory makes me shudder .

Get rid quick

I think the sensible thing is to find out where they are getting in to start with.

Not a mouse but a bank vole. I use to feed him.
Then this appeared. So I stopped encouraging them.
