A neighbour we had years ago was called James *****, everyone called him 'Jock'.He had been a Warrant Officer in Black Watch a Nobel and respected regiment who called themselves 'The Jocks' .
Strange what is a derogatory term to one person is a proud label to another.

I was trying to work out what swear word he had for a surname, then I realised you were just protecting his identity...... I didn't sleep well last night.
