Re: Posting large photos

Why do you need a bigger photo of a pie anyway? Actual size isn't necessary, I'm sure we can get the idea

I use this -
https://postimages.org/

So does Fruitcake. Much larger photos.
I never post personal photos.
But I do use this site for my pics.

Re: Posting large photos

When you right-click on an image using Firefox and view the image information of a typical photo that has been linked to on an image hosting site, it might have the line there that says: 790px × 800px (scaled to 675px × 684px)

That's the original size of the image and what size the forum has scaled the image to. I don't think a photo can ever show as wider than 675 pixels. It would throw the forum page layout right out if kilter if it was allowed to be larger than that.

The height of a photo/image is a different matter though. I don't know what the restriction on that might be but a photo can be a lot taller than it is wide.

Re: Posting large photos

This is the Max size for this forum although it was 1600x1200(21inch monitor) in Imgur . That is the program i use to post on here which automatically gets downsized for here
If I click on it twice the picture enlarges to full size

If this is any help or on Sue's Mac laptop she can just expand it
Or use Ctrl and plus together which takes it up to x 500 the size

Does anyone know how to do that ?
I use Imgur to host them.
