Re: Hawkwind.

I have been a fan of Hawkwind since their early days and have seen them live many many times.
In fact I have tickets to see them in November in Bath accompanied with a live orchestra. Hawkwind have always been a great live band but this concert is going to be something special.

Re: Hawkwind.

I saw them in Aberdeen in the early 70s with Stacia "dancing", great night. Masters of the Universe was my favourite. The bass player wasn't bad either.

Yes. That wouldn’t have been Lemmy. That was before his time.

Stacia always danced on the stage naked though she sometimes adorned herself with long flowing silk scarves. She is now a painter and lives in Brighton I believe.

Fantastic band. Saw then first at an all-night rock concert at Queen's Hall Leeds. (1971?) When Stacia came on everyone stood up as one man to get a better look.

Re: Hawkwind.

The first album is my favourite, they went a bit commercial after it for my tastes. Did anyone ever see them as Pinkwind when they used to hook up with the Pink Faries ?

At 6ft 2 in your stocking feet you were bound to get noticed naked or not .
