The other one that l incorrectly named, William Dobbin, looked at Amelia so adoringly and he was hunkier and better looking than the little, sneering twerp Osborne!

Missy, l have only watched part one, so far. I hope you can see it somewhere.

I watched Vanity Fair because it was something light after watching the heavy, Bodyguard.

But its not really "light" is it?

its about a conniving minx using her wise to get to where she wants

So pretty much like any other drama on TV at the moment

At least, Vanity Fair hasnít had any exploding bombs, or lorries laden with explosives heading towards a school.

Re: Vanity Fair

I wasn't going to bother, but I'm so glad I did, I'm loving it!

So much so that I sneakily watched elisode 2 this afternoon!

It's so unlike any other period drama...funny, witty, laughs at itself, full of well known faces...I can't fault it!

From the wonderful imaginative carousel opening credits and Michael Palin's profile it's just perfect.

Electric light bulbs? So what? Think outside the box for pity's sakes! Why do folk carp so?

I'll deconfuse you!

There was criticism in one or two of the reviews and comments of electric light bulbs on the carousel, and use of CGI in the drama.
