Re: Probiotics in doubt?

My pro-bio's are in a more concentrated capule form.
I also have two different strengths for my animals according to their needs.
The oldest one's daily dose is 200 m.I had a long talk with my vet about it first.

My own are a daily 5 billion dose containing Lactobacillus Acidophilus, L.Rhamnosus, Longum Rosell, Fos, along with some others all in a vegetarian capsule.

I am happy with the results and do not intend to change in the near future.

Re: Probiotics in doubt?

The concentrations of lactic acid bacteria in sauerkraut reaches at least 1 billion CFU, or colony forming units, per gram.

Four main species of lactic acid bacteria are commonly present in sauerkraut:

Leuconostoc mesenteroides,
Lactobacillus brevis,
Pediococcus pentosaceus and
Lactobacillus plantarum.

Sauerkraut also can contain other species, such as Weissella species, Lactobacillus curvatus, Lactobacillus sakei, Lactobacillus coryniformis, Lactococcus lactis subsp lactis, Leuconostoc fallax, Leuconostoc citreum and Leuconostoc argentinum, according to the December 2007

Cabbage, vinegar and I have a bad relationship. Same with a lot of foods. Which is why I take it in tablet form.

I couldn't eat that either Pesta.
I'd sooner take the capsules.

It's cabbage in it's own juices flavoured with natural lactobacteria and the products/flavours created by long fermentation. It is indeed very yummy.
