How Loud Do You Sing Hymns At A Wedding Or A Funeral?
Yesterday, I went to a funeral at a crematorium and there weren’t many mourners.The music started to play for, ‘All Things Bright And Beautiful’ and l felt l would sing louder than usual to help make up for the lack of mourners!
I always notice in a congregation that some sing, very loud and others come in the categories below. So.....
Do you sing your head off as loud as could be?
Do you sing beautifully, at a normal pitch?
Do you mumble the words because you’re not a very good singer, or you can’t see the words because you’ve left your glasses in the car!
Or do you just mime because you don’t like singing and really it doesn’t matter, as a recorded hymn sung by a choir is being played.

I went to the church i left sometime ago it was their celebration weekend in the village .I was one of only 4 in the congregation ,so we were told to sit at the front and sing loud .Well I sang my loudest on the Hymns i knew,my chauffeur said he could hear me at the back of the church , I left feeling a little hoarse but fulfilled ..
