One of my all time favourite Pubs is the Brazen Head Spitty, many’s the famous historical head had a drink in that place, indeed some went on to lose their heads quite literally.
The Brazen Head Pub is located on Bridge St. Lower in Dublin City. Ireland's oldest pub, it dates back to 1198.

My second climb to the third tallest mountain I think ; Castle Peak I took my 14 yr old son along for the adventure. We had a friend and his family living in Castle Peak who worked at the local Psychiatric Hospital and lived in a quaint little hospital cottage of about six or seven herded together. The ladies stayed behind and we set off. The climb up was tough but manageable and the sites on top majestic. On the way up I noticed a group of people all huddled together in a small valley on the peak and asked "what on earth are they doing?" the answer "waiting until dark when they will descend and mingle with the locals ; they are illegals from China." everyone welcomed them and helped when they could!Coming down we thought would be easy as there were stone steps cut in but after 300-400 steps it was agony on the leg muscles. Thankfully there was a noodle shop at the bottom to rest a while and sup some! Enjoy the trip we sort of did!
