This hospital, along with several others, has been awarded new logos with an appropriate Latin motto:

What a shame he didn't have the foresight to arrive in a dinghy speaking No understandy English; he would have got immediate attention.

I ought to mention that the motto on the logo contains the words routinely spoken by the person in charge of the unit held responsible for a person's unnecessary death.

Our government has the same mentality here. We put immigrants first.

I wasn't aware of that Bratti. When they arrive here they get immediate attention, taken from the beach to the hospital, lots of checks, all for free of course. This old fella has no doubt paid taxes all his life, probably served in the forces, yet he is left to die.

Re: Latest A&E death

This is really sad to hear once again about an elderly person dying on a hospital trolley. It's really obscene.

I often see elderly gentlemen sitting on their own at my hospital outpatient department. some of them look so lost in thought while they sit there patiently waiting their turn to be called, I wonder sometimes what it is they are thinking about, their past perhaps, family gone before them?, former work colleagues?, military service?, Who knows? but guaranteed, they have usually paid their dues to this country and should be first in the queue for treatment, but sadly they never are. They are treated as surplus to requirement.

It makes one despair.
