We have salted and unsalted in the supermarket but what's the point of having salt in butter? Does it go back to the pre-fridge era?
Hi Annie, I hold my hands up! I grew up with Mum and Kerrygold butter, and that is what I still continue to use, even though it is now a ridiculous price of almost £2 a slab.

I did try unsalted butter once but it tasted as though I was eating Lard! I used the remainder in baking a cake and reverted back to my salted Kerrygold butter.

HWMO prefers Clover and I use Stork for baking, so no unsalted butter will be in my fridge!
