Problem with some mobile phone networks today...

In case anyone missed this on the News...

Millions of smartphone users in the UK have lost their data services after the O2 network suffered technical problems.

O2 has 25 million customers, but also provides services for the Sky, Tesco, Giffgaff and Lycamobile networks which have another seven million users.

I am with 02 (Giffgaff piggybacking) and just sent a test message and it says 'message not sent'.

This is not the first time 02 has had problems. I used to be on it but the coverage up here in Caithness is hopeless. I was advised to switch over to Three and I've only had signal problems in a few places since I did.

I have a Tesco contract phone, not a clue which network they use???
Might be Virgin, I will check.
Never had a problem, even using it abroad.

Never had a problem, even using it abroad.
I have a Tesco contract Sweetie and it is with O2 but I haven't noticed any problems today.

I am with Orange PAYG, owned by EE now I think. I get that messasge about not sent all the time at home. Sometimes it takes two days for a text to come through.

Im with 02 and my msgs keep pinging back with failure notices to send them .....hey ho whatever !!! it will no doubts sort itself out in time....its been doing this since first thing this morning.

That might explain why I saw my neighbour this morning, standing outside his house and staring into space as though his soul had been removed.
