There was a very strong rumour, that no matter which way the vote went Brexit would never happen, before the referendum. I thought that I lived in a democratic country, so could never believe that... but it is beginning to look like I may have been wrong.

If this really happens, I am ashamed to be British because I thought we all agreed with " the highest vote should win".

What worries me now is, having seen the events in France when people object to the actions of government, we may well see it here. If we do, when this country hasn't got sufficient police to deal with it, I wonder if our government will be prepared to change their minds.... like the French have done?
