Add a Google Assistant routine to an alarm
When you dismiss an alarm, choose actions for the Assistant to do, such as tell you the weather and traffic, turn on the lights and the coffee machine, play the news and more.
To see the option for a Google Assistant routine in the clock, you’ll need:
- Latest version of Clock app by Google
- Latest version of Google Search app
- An account with Google Assistant
- This must be the phone’s selected Assistant account.
- The account can be selected through the Google Search app OR Google Assistant account settings.
Add a Google Assistant routine
- Open your device’s Clock app.
- At the top, tap Alarm.
- On the alarm that you want, tap the Down arrow .
- Next to Google Assistant routine, tap Add ADD.
- Choose the actions that you want the Assistant to do.
- To change: Tap Settings.
- To turn off an Assistant routine: Next to the routine, tap Remove.
I don't have any "Assistant" associations so that's why I'm not seeing that message.
If the instructions above apply to your phone then you can turn any "Assistant" routines OFF.
