Thinking about it, I have free Apps on my iPad for all the major TV channels, to watch catch-up stuff.
You get them from the App Store and they are all free, and nothing to do with my internet provider.

Is that what you mean, or are there other iPlayer etc. facilities that you are talking about?
Now you've got me confused, Pyxell

My Smart TV has these apps built into it. I scrolled down, selected the iPlayer one and got asked to connect my internet. Then I was asked for a username (because of age restrictions) and I was connected.
This TV is one of two in the house but I only have one licence, which I think covers both

Sounds like the ones I've got, so there wouldn't be anything extra to pay.

You don't need an APP

All you have to do as with all others save the links to you Fav page.

Such as this link.

It's not an APP, they're already built into the TV.

I'm not sure if my Broadband is unlimited or not (can't remember now) but I have never been charged extra for using iplayer, ITV hub or Netflicks.

Floydy, some programmes can be downloaded, it can sometimes take a while to download but then you can watch without the dreaded buffer symbol. I normally download when I'm busy doing something else and then watch later on.

For what it's worth, another free site is UKTV play, for channels such as Dave, Really, Home, Yesterday and Drama.

Yes floydy mate, most TVs today are smart so if you have a license and are connected to the internet, then the catch up services are available at no extra cost. I also have sky and can use some of their catch up services even on my iPad anywhere there’s WiFi, so I can watch on the go,
