EU regulates things like schnitzels?

Put in simple terms it sets a level for levels of certain materials, in this case possibly carcinogenic acrylamide that results from trying foods.
Seb K is using it as an example of how rather than tackle real hot potatoes (deliberate pun) such as immigrants and the crime that they bring with them relatively trivial stuff is occupying the huge EU commission megalith.
And he's right.
I wish we had a Sebastian Kurz in place of our beloved leader.

HiI have been absolutely plastered on here because of my views on Theresa May.
Attacked because I have personal issues with her.
And yes, I was one of those made Redundant by her.
I do think that she is a complete prat who does not listen to any professional advice.
I also think that she is dangerous, not a fit person to protect us.

My view of TM is less sympathetic than yours. But it's not just TM though, it's her backers and those pulling her strings.
