EU Confirm Illegal Dutch Fishing

The EU once again with the Dutch in particular demonstrate that they have no interest in conservation.

4 months and then this is banned completely. The EU can never be trusted

Where does it say they catch more than the allowed quota?

I understand that it is hard for someone like you to understand, but if the dutch say that no more than 15 vessels will operate at the same time, they are as good as their word.
The commission aknowledges that.

Solly, that by next july the pulse beam method will be banned
completely and all trawlers will have to de- install the equipement !!
So l assume that means that these trawlers wont have the
capability to pulse trawl anywhere in the world??

They can use electric pulse methods all they want in EU waters but not in ours.

Good luck with that one....

Re: EU Confirm Illegal Dutch Fishing

How long will it take the Dutch authorities to implement this EU rule? I'm betting on 1st January 2021 for UK waters (after we've got control back at midnight), and 1st July 2021 for EU waters. If the Dutch fishermen want to carry on all they have to do is appeal to the ECJ (they won't have a hope in hell in the UK's courts of course).

Oh, they can sell it to norwegian fishers, or icelandic, or any place in the world. I know for the english the world stops at dover, but there is a lot of world beyond that precipice.
