Here we go again !!

Looks like Boris's proposed alterations to the WA have made the
remaining remainers in the tory party very uncomfortable as our
actual exit from the eu draws near?
It seems they have liased with the HOL to mount a last ditch effort
to thwart the democratic will of the people once again ?
Are we going back to the stupidity of the Theresa May era?
Surely not?
We trusted the tory party to kee their promise on which they were
elected, and which they had to renew their vow of allegiance to the
party line??
I had my doubts from the beginning as so many of them were died in
the wool remainers unwilling to change? We must remember who
they are when the HOL is pruned !!

If they do, they should remember what happened last time.

Anyone voting against the internal market bill is voting against the country's democracy and throwing Northern Ireland under a bus.

I reckon most of the sabre rattling remainers will bottle it and vote in favour of the government or at worst, abstain.

They know they can't win this one.

Voting for the bill means voting for breaking the law. Even against the code of conduct.
Since voting is public you never know when it may be held against you. E.g. when applying for a public function, or worse, in a quango or still worse, as a ceo in industry.

The EU is breaking its own state aid rules as it allows bailout after bailout of its industries. The fake outcry for what the UK is doing proves just how panicked the EU are.

Hi

The UK is breaking International Law.

An agreement changed and signed by Boris, which he forced through with his 80 seat majority.

What we think about it is irrelevant.

What is important is what others think.

Those who we owe money to and those who we are seeking to do Free Trade Deals with.

Our word is no longer our bond.

Have to disagree with you Swimmy. Boris is doing what he's doing to provide a safety net for Norn Iron, nothing more nothing less.

As far as the remaining Remainers are concerned I seem to remember Boris had all Tory candidates sign an agreement to support him and his Brexit dealings before they could stand at the last GE. Are they now reneging on those promises?

To my mind the EU hasn't a leg to stand on if it intends to pursue the UK through the ECJ or the ICJ in this case because it, itself, has previously broken so many of the conditions laid down in the WA such as negotiating fairly, etc.

Absolute bollocks

The UK has a sovereign right to do this and national laws always supercede international ones.

Why on earth should the UK annex a country in its Union because "thats what it says there" ... its mind blowing that people get wound up over breaking international laws when its commonplace all over the world.

Soon Article 24 of GATT will be back on the table you just watch...
