The U.K., in contrast to the United States, never sought to establish how much Russia may have interfered with the 2016 Brexit referendum, a parliamentary committee concluded.

Four years after Britain voted to leave the European Union, a referendum long overshadowed by allegations of Russian meddling, the report is the first public examination by a parliamentary committee of Moscow’s efforts to use disinformation, malicious cyberactivity, and the influence of wealthy Russian expatriates to manipulate British politics.

The 47-page, highly readable report, which has been shelved for over a year, offers a damning assessment of the U.K. government’s failure to examine Russian attempts to influence the course of the Brexit vote and describes Russian interference in the country as “the new normal. https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/07/21...erence-brexit/

It's not very nice, hijacking somebody else's thread about lies from remainers during Brexit.

Even for you Solly that is very, very old news.
Though you probably just do not realise it, just as you will undoubtedly refute the extremely tenuous link between your response and the OP.

It was for example covered in a similar manner back in July last year by the CSIS (that's Centre for Strategic & International Studies) who said this:

"If Russia did have a role in tipping the 2016 Brexit referendum, the report asserts that it was not through direct involvement in the voting process, which, in the United Kingdom, is done entirely with paper and considered very hard to corrupt."

https://www.csis.org/blogs/brexit-bi...fluence-brexit

Just as with your blurb this contains nothing of note.
Face it: the chances of proving interference and what effect it might have had are nigh-on impossible and a far larger number of other things will have had much more real influence.
Like how ruddy useless the EU are, for example.
And when the content is encouraged by rabid supporters of the EU the credence diminishes further.
"Stewart Hosie of the Scottish National Party"?
Ooh completely unbiased, then.

No, there wasn't searched for a link. Logically you won't find one then. That is called a sham investigation. Curtains!

it wasn't from illegal or dodgy means as we keep finding out from remainers that have to keep apologising when they lose court cases over and over again.

Where Arron Banks got his 8 million is his business.

That’s not necessarily the case.

No, not speculation, the powers granted by the Income Tax Act 2007 are real and where people get their money from is open to scrutiny.
