Influenza cure?

It is said that everything we need to survive is already on this planet of ours, we just don't know how to use it. So I thought this of interest. . .

"Scientists have discovered that an ingredient in Honeysuckle tea (drunk in China for centuries), has properties that can beat Influenza".

That could be interesting if it really does work.

I wonder if its a case of building up yer immune system, if so, we can do that now. I've had a virus threatening for days, I keep holding it back with a pycogenal tablet in the morning and a sambucol later on - it has stopped it progressing ...........I need the help as my immune system isn't good ......

I believe that too Mups, anything that lives there is something else to kill it on this planet.

Human infections with a new avian influenza A (H7N9) virus were first reported in China in March 2013.

The scientists said their experiment was the first to show that a natural product can directly target a virus in mice, although it has not yet been proven to be effective in humans.

Well, we have to use what's available on this planet unless we plan on going further afield, so it's a good job it's all here!

Re: Influenza cure?

My understanding of the flu virus is that it constantly mutates and changes and therefore a 'cure' is only possibly for a short period, because next time it may be a different strain.
