I agree Tyrell, I did the same a little while ago. The doc wanted to put me on medication for high BP, but I felt it was only because I'm always anxious at the surgery. I took readings 3 x day for 2 weeks and showed the doc the results and also took along the monitor I used. Result was - no medication needed.

I find as I get older I become more concerned about my health, I'm now a full blown hypochondriac!

I was given a BP monitor but it's quite fiddly, I'd rather go to my local pharmacy as I know the staff very well and my readings are always normal which is more than I am!
