That is true A76 and you probably don't need that much water. I know we have been told to drink plenty but the vast majority of us do drink enough and don't need to keep sipping water all day. It isn't necessary nor does it make you any healthier, you just feel the need to keep drinking.
It's different when someone has diabetes and needs to drink all the time along with peeing all the time.

I don't like water either....I am rarely 'thirsty' so I must be getting enough fluids one way or another.

You should get a good idea if you're hydrated enough by the colour of your pee.

I drink two glasses of water when I get up. One mug of coffee with my breakfast and one mid morning, instant as I don't like the other stuff. I drink two glasses of water at about 12pm, a mug of tea with my lunchtime sandwich, a mug of tea about 3ish. I drink two more glasses of water at about 5pm, and one full glass at 9pm with my statin.

I never drink water because fish do unspeakable things in it but I do drink a lot of tea, coffee and beer. I am rarely thirsty but I do drink up to ten cups of tea a day
