2% on Class 4 NI for the self employed in the budget, that means a self employed person on say £30K a year, you will be £33.00 per month worse off.

The Government are saying that on average it will be less than a £ a week.

There must be loads of self employed people working for the NMW on that reckoning.

Usual tactics. Encourage everyone to go self employed thus making the jobless/unemployment figures appear better and when sufficient have followed that path sting them with increased taxes.
