Quick Tasty Snacks

Occasionally you feel like a tasty snack, yesterday I had this sudden feeling, so I slapped a couple of bits of bread in the toaster, then I had some virgin olive oil spread on them, and for those who like it a sprinkling of rock salt.
It was quite tasty, have you any tasty snack ideas.
A tip for those who like olive oil, one of the best I can recommend is Lidl's Prima Donna.

If we want something slightly more substantial than a snack we have a poached egg on ham on toast, tasty and nourishing.

Not keen on eggs but going on from the toast and olive oil - thick slice of bread, olive oil spread around with a juicy tomato sprinkled with salt ...

then thick bread toasted spread with dripping and beef jelly perhaps some marmite .... I can dream can't I ?


and what about the old favourite, bacon sarnie?

Sometimes, I'll do cheese on toast but add some sliced onion or tomato underneath the cheese.

If I have some egg mayonnaise already made, then I do like ham, egg mayonnaise and grated cheese in a small baguette for lunch.

Buttered toast, fresh tomatoes sliced over and drizzled with worcestershire sauce, scrummy.

You're on (I love marmite) - err, hang on, I bring all that and you bring a jar of marmite, something's not quite right about this
