Re: Quick Tasty Snacks

Yes, pm, from leaving home at 10.22am!

Went to my employers occy health, Whittinton hospital, for further immunisation (even though they won't give me work), and I decided to explore that part of north London. Kenwood house estate, down The Bishops Avenue to see what all the fuss is about, hopped on a train back to Archway, late lunch, bus on to way home, stopping off at a shopping centre in Wood Green cos I needed some stuff, then waited long time for bus home.

Phew!

Re: Quick Tasty Snacks

For a 'quick' snack - burger sarnie - fry a 1/4 pounder and slap between two slices of bread. Can also do the same with hot dog sausages too with added fried onion - delicious - either one of them.

Re: Quick Tasty Snacks

I sometimes put beans with cheese to heat in microwave, then eat with hot buttered toast 'soldiers' to dunk.. yummy.

A friend of mine used to love hard boiled egg/tomato on toast sandwiches with lots of black pepper, converted me too.

Re: Quick Tasty Snacks

Might do my favourite today: make up cheese sandwich, dip in egg (add milk, seasoning and onion granules) then shallow fry. Mmmmmmmm

Quick and tasty.

Re: Quick Tasty Snacks

I had toasted crumpets with a strong cheddar topping for dinner earlier in the week. I fancied something simple

Re: Quick Tasty Snacks

Put slice of Velveeta cheese on honey wheat bread, top with slice of pineapple. Put in oven under broiler until cheese melted. Yum.
