they are lovely have them at least once a week sometimes more !

Ugh - evil little things sprouts are. They are one of the few foodstuffs that if I try (and I have done) to eat them, I actually feel physcially sick trying to swallow them. I take that as my body's natural defences against an evil little food group
Anyone see the Vicar of Dibley when Geraldine had the sprout eating competition with David (after she'd already had to eat 3 Christmas dinners in one day?) Now that was funny

I love them
steamed not boiled and still with a bit of bite . I think so many people cook the life out of the poor things.They are also nice shredded and rapidly cooked in a knob of butter and couple of tablespoons of boiling water until the water evaporates then add black pepper.
