Thatch trimming Tuesday

Good morning everyone

It is another damp and cold (9degrees ) day here with a wind that cuts right through you but at least the birds are singing.

Off for a thatch triming soon then a look around PCWorld to see what new gadgets they have on offer with lunch at some local establishment followed by an afternoon of relaxation.

Nice in London as well although not as hot as it has been but I guess we all knew it wouldn't last much longer. Enjoy your day everyone.

A belated good morning all on what I think will be the last day of the Indian summer .

Hi everyone, lovely and bright here in Sherwood but considerably cooler at 16deg.

I've been busy this morning repairing things and we've got friends coming over this afternoon for coffee.

Glad you mentioned the thatch trimming AB, must do my hedges tomorrow...

I am driving back home to London tomorrow.
My preferred route now, is down the A74 from Scotland to Penrith. On to the A66 over the Pennines to Scotch Corner. Then down the A1 and eventually the A14 and the M11 to home

Big change in the weather during the day, gone is the heat and the wind is chilly. Just put in the last of the pansies.
