I think everyone, male or female, gets sentimental over some things as they get older. We all look back at times and wish with perhaps a sigh and let our minds wander. I lost my wife almost eleven years ago but I still say Good Morning and Good Night to her every day. Is that being sentimental? If so then I am a sentimental old fool.

It may or may not be sentimental, but it brings you comfort, and shows how much you loved her, so don't stop.

And now I'm welling up!

I think that just shows that you loved her & wish she was still with you..... and there is nothing foolish about that!
