Hi Steve I eat a lot of chestnuts and won't buy the Chinese ones, they are usually horrid.

At 5:30 am this morning I was walking round Sainsbury's... i got my 6 lbs of chestnuts and bread ...what a experience ...no screaming Kids throwing tantrums ...no bruised ankles ..no-one arguing in queues ...in and out in 15 minutes .....theN 3 hours roasting, peeling, boiling and grinding and mixing with butter ..hard work but worth it in the end .....

Re: Chestnut hell

A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel
and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories.
After about an hour, the manager came out of the office
and asked them to disperse.
"But why," they asked, as they moved off.
"Because", he said, "I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer."
