Now, if it's to do with promoting a business, that's different (that is if people understand what it is you are advertising by the number plate). I wouldn't do unless I was familiar with that particular business.

I have a personal plate, it’s nothing fancy or funny, just my initials, I don’t consider myself showing off, it’s only on a bog standard fiesta, probably not worth much, ( it didn’t cost a lot to buy) , why did I get one, not sure really , is it so wrong to say I just fancied it?29-09-2019, 11:17 AM

personal plates are common around here. In my little cal de sac alone there are at least 4 personal plates and a lot more around the corner
