Are you having the gel stuff replaced eith water Nom?
My BIL had it done a few years ago and can see very well now.

I know exactly how you feel, I had to wait from Feb to Sept in 2016 for an op
and then only got it because of the condition I was in re gall bladder.
As for eye ops, by the time the eye is numbed you don't feel anything. The odd thing is the good eye still moves and the one operated on doesn't until the numbing drops wears off.

Apparently over 200 people have become blind in the UK waiting for treatment, disgraceful im supposing its down to a shortage of eye consultants.

Lets hope this can be reversed.
