Donkeyman!

Only need a general election DM. Then all will be sorted

I've been emailing Graham Dupree and Richard Wilding today and yesterday (of the Brexit Party) to help out with the local campaigns. If you think the Brexit Party aren't ready for a general election, think again DM ... these people are not messing around, they are super organised and ready to go.

Get involved !

Assuming that the UK leaves on 31st October (2019, please almighty god), what will be the purpose of the Brexit Party?

Forget leaving by that date. There will be no deal, and leaving without has been made unlawful.

Not really.

The Surrender law wasn't law at the time of the referendum and so doesn't apply to enacting the result of the referendum.

Also the law was a political ruling not a ruling within the realms of Justice and therefore not applicable

It would be easy to ignore the Surrender Bill and fight it in the courts once and for all.

Get rid of the 2 party system and focus on post Brexit UK instead of trying to drag us back into the sewer of the EU

It'll only take one EU member to veto the request, and leave we will.

I wonder if, as a member of the EU, the UK can veto its own request?

No. Although you are still a member, article 50 paragraph 4 states:
.***For the purposes of paragraphs 2 and 3, the member of the European Council or of the Council representing the withdrawing Member State shall not participate in the discussions of the European Council or Council or in decisions concerning it.

So the UK will abstain from voting, or even participating in discussions.
