That law was drafted specifically to apply on the implementing of the referendum result by the pm. Parliament is fully entitled to do so.

All laws are based on political visions of the majority in parliament. A law on social security conceived by the conservatives will be different from a law on the same subject conceived by labour.
It is the justice system that decides whether actions by individuals and institutions (including government) are within the boundaries of the law.
Laws being based on political premisses makes that every ruling has a political basis, especially when government is the subject.

In this case government and its head, the pm, has to abide by a law specifically designed for action by the pm. As they say: dura lex, ced lex.

Gerechtigheid, vrijheid, vertrouwen = justice, freedom, trust.

In words of one syllable preferably, can one of you tell me me how we will be better off by leaving?

Oh dear

So how will leaving address the trade deficit other than we will be poorer and probably buying less. We only generate 20% of our wealth in trade in goods. The rest comes from services which we are free to sell to the rest of the world as WTO doesn’t cover them so little room for gains there. However we will lose passporting rights into the EU so trade from the UK will diminish, increasing the deficit . Yes we could buy elsewhere but that may come at the price of lowering our standards and a flood of cheap imports could damage our own manufacturers and reduce our manufacturing capacity

Yes we pay a fee and yes we get less back directly than we pay in. However the huge financial benefit we get from being a member, particularly from passporting of services makes our membership fee worth paying

How will the fishing industry be renewed when we have sold off most of the lucrative licenses to foreign interests and rely on exporting what we do catch to Europe which will now be subject to tariffs

How will we control immigration when we have failed to do so with countries outside the EU where we do have absolute control

Your last sentence seems to be you describing yourself

Just a suggestion. Perhaps you shouldn't formulate your answers as rethorical questions. Leavers, and they are in a disproportionate majority on this forum, have no understanding of that concept.

Nope, not one of them ever answered with even a modicum of detail sufficient enough to support leaving the EU... which is why they remain unanswered
