I am awaiting the introduction of a ‘safe place’ for those who might find some posts ‘abrasive’ or upsetting.

I've been out with some right bloaters in the past Vlad...
The longer the night went on, and the risk of going home without a girl under my arm, the less fussy I became....

At times it's not always easy to do that, I can only excuse this by saying that often personal circumstances can be the cause. Usually I would just have 'seen' what was being posted and not replied as I did, in fact probably not replied at all.

Yes, unfortunately not really up to much at the present time. Not much humour in life right now.

Thanks Lion Queen, I've never noticed you being 'abrasive', hence my seemingly 'out of place' reply where I obviously missed the intended humour.

My teacher once advised me, "Just because everyone laughs when you say anything, don't assume it that it means that you have a sense of humour"!

Mind you, he wouldn't have known a "sense of humour" if it bit him in the bum!

Sorry to hear that, Baz.
I hope things begin to look up for you again before long.

I'm afraid that I suffer from being taken seriously sometimes when I'm pulling legs. I suppose that I'd say, if in doubt don't take me at my word.
