Same for me, and there was also This Ole House by Rosemary Clooney. There are loads I can remember from being a child, but it's impossible to remember the very first I heard on the radio.

I cannot remember - but it was probably the theme tune to 'The Archers'. Mother was an avid listener. It was on every evening just before our bedtime and we had to sit in silence and not fidget until it was over !
