Re: This is just so uplifting

I thought you Welsh Folk were great songsters. Now you know how us English feel when you Taffies start yodelling at the beginning of a rugby match. Time and place for everything you know. Can't see the point of that myself.

The point of this spontaneous singing was to bring a little joy into what can be a bit of a chore for some people.

I am amazed at your attitude I really thought you were joking.

I would love this! I always want to join in with the buskers in Bath, luckily my daughter's usually there to stop me (my voice is not as good as I think it is!) I always sing in the car, sometimes in Tesco, but not too loud! Wouldn't it be great to have a sing along in a traffic jam! Love the idea of flash mobs but, haven't come across any yet.

Me too, I would so love to come across a line of traffic all looking grim because the lights won't change and suddenly singers and dancing girls appear. I know I know people might be late for work or whatever they are supposed to be doing but it would be such a laugh. Come on Twizard lets do it.

It's a flash mob, they're everywhere (type flash mob into YouTube)

It's just a bit of fun (remember fun?)

Looks more like flash lunacy to me .

Just looked up 'fun' on Wiki. Not sure I like it to be honest .

If you get unhappy about unusual 'weird' things happening in stations and supermarkets, what will you make of this?

Sorry just don't like it one bit. This 'flash' business is a relatively new phenomenon obviously.

S*** I have been to hospital to see my dieing father fairly recently. I mean my emotions were already in turmoil and then I might suddenly come across revelry where some band or other decides their choice of music is suitable for me at that particular time? Thank god they were an orchestra and not some boy band or other. At least they showed some respect for the surroundings.

Nah there is a time and place for everything and these impromptu proceedings are pushing the boundaries of social acceptance.

No warning and then bam you in the middle of some stuff or other! What about us gentle shy folk? We run a mile from this stuff. It is a shock to the system .
