Handmade Christmas

I make lots of my own decorations.
This morning Dolly and I found a nice tree- shaped branch on our walk. I like those little trees with lights on in the shops but they're expensive, so I'm going to make my own.
I'll paint the branch white and stick it in a pot, put rice lights on it and hey presto! (Photos when finished)

What do you make? Photos please

Re: Handmade Christmas

Can't do the photo thing but everything we can make we do. I saw an artificial tree I liked so have got the pieces together and will put it together in a week or so, flat wall type tree so won't take up loads of room, all natural bits so compostable afterwards.

Re: Handmade Christmas

Rice lights are in most stores that sell Xmas decorations or in florists, Pauline
They're tiny lights on copper wire usually.
I'm having my lounge decorated by family at the mo so may be a while til I get around to Christmas stuff, can't wait!!!
