I have said before on here, that the five people who were my closest friends, have all died.
I miss each one, for different reasons. I'll never make another close friend - not at my age, anyway
Edna had a heart condition (a truly beautiful person) Mary and Winnie lost their husbands first, Hilda was the bossy one (her daughter and I still keep in touch) and finally Jean, quiet, kind but very funny...without being disloyal to the others, Jean made me smile.
