I've just watched the first two episodes of the 3 part Joanna Lumley travels across China, Mongolia, Siberia, Russia...absolutely stunning.
I was totally captivated.
I think I have seen all of her travelogues, and loved every one of them. Refreshingly different from Alan Wicker and Michael Palin, although I did enjoy them as well.
We try to see anything she is in, she doesn't ever make rubbish TV and in this genre like Sue Perkins she really seems to care about the people she comes into contact with, it's not just a travel show it's far more human than that.
I am a big fan of Joanna Lumley.
She is a wonderful host on this current t.v. series and i hope that she will be nominated for an award later in the year.
