If I understand correctly, the UK voters cast their vote for a party's representative first. Based on the number of votes the seats are distributed over the parties. Only then they represent one of the UK regions.
So even if UJ should live up a tree, he can vote for his party.

I believe he'll vote for them: a 'protest vote'.

Imagine he lives in a constituency where there is no brexit party candidate. What is he to chose? Ukip?

Farrage is the lead Brexit candidate in Uncle Joe's constituency, somehow I don't think he'll be voting Brexit. As said he is most likely to vote Green.
