New years resolutions.

Have you made any this year?

Have you ever made any that you've stuck to?

I made one once to stop smoking & use the money for driving lessons. I stuck to part of it: Using the money for driving lessons - unfortunately I started smoking again after I passed my test. (But I've stopped again now)

Re: New years resolutions.

I do tend to stick to them if I make realistic ones. This year is a realistic one so I expect to keep it. One I never stick to is give up chocolate so I'm not going in that direction this year.

Yes, I have a couple this year.

Cut down on unnecessary spending, and reduce the debit entries in my cash book.

Stop buying so many tubes of bbq Pringles. (Which could fall into the first one.)

Re: New years resolutions.

No, I don't bother any more as I always break them

I do dry January as matter of course, last year I lasted till April before I had another drink, I hope to stretch it out a bit longer this year

Then I also give up something for February and something for March. Last year it was crisps and then biscuits , which I did for each month, but have never really gone back to eating either on a regular basis which is good for the waist line

Hi

I have three.

Finish the house.

Get to see Guy

Find myself a lady.

The third is the difficult one, not many ladies stupid enough to want me.

Re: New years resolutions.

11 years ago I vowed to never have another cigarette after New year's Eve and I stuck to it. Only one I ever stuck to.

To spend far less time online, see friends far more often, make concrete plans for the future, be kinder, progress in career, listen more, speak less.
