Do definitely recall it talking about hungry disciples picking corn from the stalks and eating it raw. Not too likely if it was referring to any other grain. Can't imagine eating raw wheat.

I'll dig out my copy of the Bible and look it up.

That could easily be just a coincidence. Not necessary meant to be pi.

Pi wasn't mentioned specifically (largely due to it getting that standard name some time later), but the concept of circumference = 3 x diameter is self evident.

Well nobody bothers with the .1415etc if you are calculating the diameter and radius of a circle do they? It's called 'Near Enough' where I come from Dex...

It is true OGF. Personally, I tend to use 3.1415926536 for my "near enough". Each to their own I guess, and presumably it was good enough for god

which, since you live in god's country.....
