And so may it remain, it will of course, whilst the constipated mathematicians, fail to work it out.

Delving too deeply into that introspective stuff will only lead to such thoughts as To woof or not too woof that is the question.

Be it on yer own ed

I live two lives it seems to be
One is him and t’other is me
One is clever with some good friends
The other’s lifestyle all depends
On what life events come his way
A crisis looms up every day

So which is the one that’s really me
If I’m truthful there’s really three
Of us crowding this muddled psyche
Though acting alone is quite unlikely
Each day we set out all together
In sun and rain, every kind of weather

When on line I greet my fellow fourth
I wouldn’t be without him, of course
He writes in verse and writes in prose
What he means, gosh, no one knows
But mostly he writes from his heart
That is where a travail must start

So I take my hat off to all my friends
From the four of us.

Good morning Possums.
I'm going to post some poems here later.
Blame Gummy Bear, he has been inspiring me.
Well the Panto never started, not the party.

the four faces of robbo heh?

but it is true - one is a work colleague; a wife; a mother; a sister; a grandmother ;the fat lady in the circus; a socialite etc etc - many faces with all different portrayals - and which of course is the real one?

Thanks RJ. certainly food for thought there. Old Will who knew a thing or two got it near the mark in As you like it ,

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts.

Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

Well...yes....but not in the way you imagine,Sweet Lady.
For,y'see,here on Puggy Island [no,not it's real name,gumboil. #sigh]
there has been a strange phenomenonemonthingy called ''scientific & mechanical progress''. Y'see, here in the 20th century,as we make plans for the forthcoming Millenium Party,we have things which those living in ''Ooh-arr''shire would find it hard to even imagine. Yes,we have advanced technology of the latest/greatest here, such as tv,a radio without a dial that works by pressing buttons,CB radio....and even vans & cars so advanced in technology they need a mere THREE wheels! [yes, gummy, you guessed. The Reliant Regal,as seen in 'Only Fools And Horses] That van,the absolute last word in amazingly efficient,up-to-date technology and engineering is actually in use, here on Puggy island! In fact, there is even conjecture that it may soon be possible to send a manned flight to the Moon! So don't think for one moment that you lot down there in Dorrrrrsetshoire, growing acres of tins for tomatoes and pretending one should put the cream on BEFORE the jam, when eating a scone [oh,you HEATHENS!] are more advanced than us,because WE even have telephone boxes just across the causeway on the mainland, that, for tuppence, will allow a person to ring ANYWHERE! [well, you have to press 'button A' when they answer, but that's fine, because if they DON'T answer, pressing button B gives you your money back! Eh? How good is THAT!?!?!

Ohhh, yes - here in the epicentre of advanced 20th Century technology,we're even being told we may soon have colour tv!!!!

HA! SUFFER,Dorrrrsetshoire!
