However, 79.99 a year is not bad if you can use up to 6 PCs for that money!

With Microsoft 365, you can install Office on all your devices and sign in to Office on five devices at the same time. This includes any combination of PCs, Macs, tablets, and phones.
So, the more you can make use of it then the more cost effective it becomes - but that doesn't apply to me since I only use ONE device for MS Office - I use FreeOffice for infrequent use on my laptop and Google Drive for rare use on my phone .....
