The Non-Conformance to Single Market Rules

According to the EU ...

"
Member States are required to comply with EU rules. Governments have agreed to remove obstacles and to create opportunities in the Single Market for their companies and for foreign investors.
"

Hmmm

Except they don't. According to the EU's very own Single Market Scoreboard, you can see how many countries infringe the rules to protect their own economies from stupid laws made by career politicians that have never run a business, recruited anyone, done a tax return or sold anything.

No surprise then, that the member states frequently breach these rules and have infringement proceedings made against them to stop the damage they would make to their own economies

Have a look and you can see just how successful "further political integration" and "more Europe" is becoming

Expect more of these "infringement proceedings" for the 27 victims to pay (like we saw in Italy when they broke state aid rules at the start of the pandemic in order to bail out their hospitality industry) their COVID-19 rescue package and the next 7 years of the EU budget.

And look at the numbers for the UK.

EU average of infringement cases: 29. The UK: 33. Bad boy!

On the bright side, transposition deficit: 0,5%. Which means you transposed almost all EU law into your national law. Better than most EU members. Good boy!

We were one of the most compliant countries in the EU with EU laws, but then we left, which says it all really.

Now everyone just hates the Netherlands, except you have a small population and little say in anything. You just pay for it.

Just goes to show that industries like Dutch Shell and Unilever know where their future lies.

Both were half dutch, half english. Moving on paper to london means both expect your laws changing in favour of the rich shareholders. The workers won't be the ones benefiting. I hope you own shares in both companies?
