I just watched Home Is Where The Art Is & the lady painter artist said she starts with the dogs eyes first as well, but they didn't pick her to make the dog, they picked the wood sculpter & the ceramics artist to make their blind Greyhound Scout. They bought both artist work as they were amazing.

Your pictures are every bit as good, if not better, than that artists painting of dogs, the one they didn't go with.

I didn’t see that programme what channel was it on ?
I am in two minds to just leave this dog as it is now .

Luv it as it is, Muddy.
I can almost feel that fur.

Maybe just one slight thing . . . I might put a tad more chest showing, but only a tiny bit.

I agree with Mups, it does end abruptly under it's chin.
