Virus protection for phones

Is there such a thing as an anti-virus thingy for android phones? If so does anyone recommend one please?

CM Security is excellent for virus protection and free,just Google it .Avast also do a free anti virus app for mobiles.

I see with our Norton we can cover a smart phone too.

I'm still trying to get Macaffee off my laptop! I had it free when I was with BT and there's no way to remove it, it keeps popping up and disrupting things!

Have you used their removal tool ? https://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331 that was the only way we could get it out of my husbands laptop.
