Edit: Oops! I was replying to d00d end of page one...

Exactly, flexitarian if you have to put a label on it

Can never understand why vegans want to eat manufactured (and what is often highly processed food, invented in a lab, to look like meat, (eg. Burgers bleeding beetroot juice...) the very food they decry! Wtf!

And another thing!! A lot of vegan staples are not grown in the UK, they think they are saving the planet but do they take food miles into account? Goods that are shipped to the UK from half way across the world! Shipping is the biggest transport polluter, using heavy oil, 15 supertankers belch out more pollutants than all the cars in the world! Not to mention them emptying their ballast tanks and polluting the oceans.
But hey ho, I am the big bad meat eater...but...I eat seasonal and local, and local sustainably and responsibly sourced meat as far as possible, but I am still seen as the bad guy...

Sorry...band wagon/ soap box / grumpy old woman time plus I have been drinking

Re: Bacon Patch??

The vegan "bacon" is actually very tasty. Have you tried it.
It means you can savour a bacon sandwich knowing some poor creature hasn't given its life for your snack.
