Think when the Scots were asked with a referendum about splitting from England, the English were not allowed a vote.

There are a lot of Gibs with a Spanish surname who voted to still be part of the UK

Re: Spain v Gibraltar

Hi

Boris has already reneged on a key red line with Northern Ireland, he may well do the same with Gibraltar.

I have often stated that my reasons for voting leave were not financial, I believe that we are in for a few years of pain in that respect.

It was all about democracy and not being told what to do by others.

Gibraltar voted to stay in the UK, so that is that.

Spain can get lost.

The people of Gibraltar voted to stay in the UK

Two.

#1 It's British.

#2 The vast majority of the population want to remain British on a part of Britain.

It's got huge strategic relevance for access to the Mediterranean and is also a UK listening post and military base.

If we are part of NATO why do we need a strategic military base alongside another NATO ally?

I'm just wondering whether it's a tax avoidance area.

Of course it is - so what?

It's no where near as bad as the Isle of Man though. That horrid place should be sunk with all hands

Hi

Nope, not a listening post, neither are the few troops relevant at all.

It used to be highly valuable, but times have moved on.
